British artist Tom Lewis creates layered paintings and prints that are a colorful, playful and whimsical mix of traditional and digital techniques. His inventive narratives blend ancient and urban arts to explore beautiful, nonsensical meaning. In 2010, a selection of Lewis’ work was featured on the BBC TV show, The Junior Apprentice, and the exposure was a huge boost in a career that was just beginning to blossom. The giclée paper fine art prints are printed on Hahnemühle Photorag Matt white fine art finish 308gsm archival paper. The matt coating ensures stunningly brilliant colours with superb flatness and high-density blacks. Looking as close to an original painting as possible.
This piece was released to mark the opening of The Scope Contemporary Art Fair – Art Basel Miami 2016.
This edition is produced in the UK by Wishbone Publishing.
