THE ARTISTS

At the core of This is a Limited Edition is a collection of incredibly talented and inspiring artists creating an immense collection of new art for your walls.

A variety of styles and nationalities drawing the best from the world’s of Street Art, Urban Art, Low-Brow, Illustration, Advertising, Digital Art and more.

Some are established and internationally recognised, others are fresh and brand new to the art world - but they all bring something different to the growing collection.

We are particularly proud of the artists we work with, and if you are unfamiliar with any of them, then we hope that you will enjoy finding out more about them.

Each Art Print Edition is available in a number of sizes, formats and framing options... from giant 2m chunky canvases to our chic stately frames. Excellent quality with only 250 ever printed.

THE ART PRINTS...

All our Fine Art Gicleé paper prints are printed on archival quality 310gsm smooth European art paper.

Gicleé prints are high-resolution, high-fidelity reproductions produced on 'state of the art' large format digital printers. The pigment based inks used are guaranteed lightfast in normal conditions for in excess of 25 years. The colours are brighter, last longer, and are virtually continuous tone, rather than tiny dots.

The range of colour possible for gicleé is far beyond that of conventional offset-lithography (the method for most prints and posters).

We are very proud of the quality of print we achieve. We feel it delivers an exceptional Fine Art print that really does justice to the artist’s work.

All our prints are shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity.

THE CANVAS

These are not 'your photo on canvas' cheap and cheerful prints – these are the highest quality fine art reproductions. In terms of print quality, detail and colour richness they are second to none.

We use a 450gsm fine mesh, cotton/polyester mix canvas fabric - which is more stable than natural canvas and ensures optimum image reproduction.

We do not varnish our canvases in anyway – they are left flat Matt – making for an amazing finish. As close to an Original painting as we can recreate.

All canvases are stretched by hand on 2” deep kiln dried solid wood stretchers. The wood we use is from winter-cut, finger jointed and laminated Baltic pine. This gives an advantage of removing all knots and making the timber very strong and very straight. All of our custom canvas frames are handmade and hand finished in the UK by our master framers.

The printed image is mirrored and then wrapped all the way around the outside. Just like those big masterpieces you would see in an art gallery. Big, bold and glorious!

THE FRAMES...

All of our custom frames are handmade and hand finished in the UK by our master framers. We only use solid wood mouldings and acid-free white-core mounts, which ensures the finished article will maintain it's great looks for years to come. Frames are sealed with tape at the rear to prevent the ingress of dust etc. Each custom frame ready to hang on the wall. Finally, all pictures are packaged in our special custom designed cases, so that they arrive in first class condition. We have 2 very different Frame ranges available to house our Paper Prints.

CONTEMPORARY...

Our Contemporary frames are a 45mm deep frame in a Birch, Oak, Black or White finish. We use a museum quality non-reflective perspex. The prints are then mounted with a 60mm snow white board. All-in-all a damn fine contemporary look.

STATELY...

Ornate and very different, the type of frame you expect to see hanging in the National Gallery or a uber-cool Shoreditch Bar. Our Stately Frames come in their own two unique sizes and are available in a Black, Silver, Gold and a White finish.

THE PILLOWS

A growing collection of Limited Edition Scatter Cushions & Giant Floor Pillows designed by some of the world’s leading artists and illustrators.

Available in TWO sizes – 40cm x 40cm and 100cm x 100cm.

We only print 250 of each design and each cushion is delivered boxed with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Constructed of super soft faux suede – printed one side – with a plain back of either black or white dependent on design. Each has a feather filled inner.

They are machine washable, although we advise that they are handwashed separately in cold water first time round.

If they have our black back then avoid prolonged contact between the faux suede black back and light fabrics or other white materials. Especially white leather Covers are printed in non-toxic waterbased inks.

These really are so cool, cuddly and loveable. The internet really doesn't do them justice! Sofa’s have never looked so cool!

CUP & SAUCERS

A new range of collectible cup and saucers from some of the world’s most exciting high profile designers and artists.

Series One brings together a global mix of creative stars including Dan Baldwin, ilovedust, James Jean, Joshua Davis, Mr Jago, Nanami Cowdroy, Si Scott, Tara McPherson and Vault49.

These demitasse Cups and Saucers are all made from Staffordshire Bone China, lovingly produced in Stoke-on-Trent, England.

Each is shipped with a A6 Fine Art Print - signed by the Artist & sequentially numbered.

They are also shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity and we only produce 250 of each design available. Making them incredibly collectible.

Series Two will be released soon - featuring designs from Ron English, Mode2, Insa Julie West, Joe Ledbetter, Jon Burgerman and more.

MINI BAGS

Is it a make-up bag? Is it a wash bag? Or is it the coolest pencil case? The choice is yours...

What we can tell you is that it is made in England - constructed from canvas and leatherette finishing and inner lining. With a nice big chunky zip. Plus a button badge on the zip pull. It is 30cm wide and 20cm high.

They are machine washable but we recommend hand wash to preserve their shape better.

EYE MASKS

Sleeping has never been more fun!

Made in England - these artist designed Eyemasks are padded with a satin feel and a silk lined back. They are 25cm wide and 15cm high - Oversized and very comfortable to wear.

Both are part of a Limited Edition of 1000 - with more designs to come in 2010.
